This way, the game's story will continue to progress and new Specialists and content will be added, including maps and weapons.Īs the name suggests, the game is set in 2042, but the story begins back in 2031 when the climate crisis is exacerbated.
Live Service: In line with other multiplayer shooters, Battlefield 2042 will have seasonal releases every three months with two new Battle Passes, one free and one paid.
